ARTICULATION
Various dimensions and locations
2013 – ongoing
Articulation started as a collaborative project with my Father in 2013, together we built a wind chime, which was subsequently hung 50 feet up a Spruce on the University of British Columbia Endowment Lands in Vancouver, British Columbia. As part of an ongoing investigation into the ideas surrounding resonance in relationship with the passive and active memory, Articulation is the residue of performed action. The intention of this work is to insert a break, pause, or moment into a moment of the day the audience was otherwise not anticipating, to articulate a gesture without having to use words, and to hopefully draw the attention of the audience to the surrounding natural world.
