This short film is constructed from found family footage and is the visual recounting of my Great Oncle John, a victim of polio. I implore notions of texture, and repetition as a means to express the temporality of both memory and the medium of film. This film is a continued exploration of obsolete technology in that the emulsion on film is no longer the standard for home videos or any non-professional documentation. It also serves as a kind of record keeping and documentation of personal history.
